Yi needed two large documents checked and proofed for a client – a prominent New Zealand business entity. I was happy to be able to help as I appreciate how difficult it can sometimes be when juggling different people’s timetables.
Hi Rachel, I really enjoyed working with you as you were super efficient, thoughtful and were flexible with our timings too which really helped, so thank you again.
Thanks

Mat at Express Aluminium wanted their site to reflect how they can help clients build something exceptional without all the stress and drama. Rather than solely focusing on selling aluminium joinery, they wanted to highlight how they make the job of choosing windows and doors simpler and much more enjoyable.
“Hi Rachel,
Amazing work – thank you. Only minor change is on the attached. Otherwise its perfect and brilliant.
Thank you.
Kind regards
Mat”

Sandra was looking for a way to get her budding enterprise off the ground. When I saw her about three or so months after her site launch, she was grinning from ear to ear. Thanks to her site, she could change direction and focus fully on her how flourishing business.
“Rachel was great, very direct and I appreciated that, she got to the heart of the matter and got lots out of me that I hadn’t thought of. This all made my website way way better. I highly recommend Rachel.“

Rebecca Logan takes a holistic approach to interior design. She has a wealth of experience both in NZ and overseas and wanted a website that highlighted both her design and project management skills.
“It was a pleasure working with Rachel on my website content, she ‘got’ what I was wanting to convey. I gave Rachel some rough ideas and she formed them into varied interesting content. I loved that I could just call Rachel and discuss ideas or changes and she made them then and there, saving me hours of re-writing comments back. I would definitely recommend her, and would use her services again.”

When the opportunity to write the web copy for an oyster farm came along, I wasn’t about to say no. The only downside is that my mouth starts watering every time I write a blog for them and I have to get their fresh oysters delivered.
“Rachel has been an asset to our business.
After we noticed our online sales declining, we meet with Rachel to discuss how we can turn this trend around. I learnt more about online marketing in 40 minutes at that meeting then I have in the past 5 years.
Rachel is easy to work with, always available and makes sure we get our newsletters and blogs out on time with relevant/interesting content.
Our online sales are now trending back up.”

Bug King are pest evictors. Mark McDonald asked me to write topic pages and regular blog posts on the creepie crawlies they regularly help Auckland homes and businesses live without.
“I have worked with Rachel for over a year. In that time the SEO results across all categories in my industry have improved dramatically. If you’re not using her you’re missing out big time.”
Mark McDonald, Owner, Bug King

Being very aware of the long-term, harmful effects of using toxic sprays for pest control, and the fact that sprays are largely ineffective for guava moths, Bob Mitchell developed this cost-effective, spray-free solution to guava and codling moth. We were delighted to be asked to help get this product to market.
“WordRight completed a website for us 6 months ago. Since then, sales and traffic to the website has increased dramatically. Would definitely recommend WordRight to anyone thinking of updating their website. Excellent after-sales training as well.”

Global Finance wanted their copy refreshed and given a more approachable feel on their revamped site. They also asked me to write regular blog posts for them each week, some of which are included in their newsletters to clients.
“Rachel delivered a fantastic article for our monthly newsletter that got an amazing open rate. The article was widely read and well received by our customers. The writing style is always well structured and offers in-depth information to our readers. Would highly recommend Rachel for content writing!”

Gina had moved from Auckland to Kerikeri. I wrote some new pages for her photography services and worked on the SEO so it reflected the shift.
I have used Rachel for copy/content for my website a few times now and I’m always so happy with what she produces. She is very thoughtful when it comes to the SEO within the copy and goes the extra mile for her clients.
Thanks so much! These are fantastic!

Torbay Physio & Hand Therapy wanted a revamp of their current site. Christina had recently taken over as director and was wanting the site to look more modern, clearly show the services they provided and make sure all information was easy to follow and up to date.
“Rachel was in charge of the professional copywriting for our company’s new website. Honestly, I was very anxious and resistant going into the process of creating a new website, in particular, thinking about how to word things well and portray our company accurately. Then Rachel came to the rescue. She allayed my fears about the copywriting process and took the time to speak with us about what was important to us as well as sharing her knowledge and expertise about what makes a website more effective. She was so efficient and kept us up-to-date and informed throughout her writing process. Not only was Rachel professional, but she was also personable and made me feel comfortable to ask any questions. But most importantly, Rachel really captured the essence of our company through her words. Thank you for making this process so painless and enjoyable and for us and for really understanding our needs. I would highly recommend her services to anyone.”

Liz, a writer for North & South magazine each month, a senior photojournalist for Destinations, New Zealand’s quarterly travel magazine, a features writer for business publications and a regular contributor to AA Directions, has had her travel writing and photography published in onHoliday, Listener, The New Zealand Herald and a handful of different airline magazines.
I am an award-winning journalist, but sometimes I just don’t see my own mistakes. Rachel is a fantastic proofreader; her skills have saved me from many embarrassing literary moments.

Matakana Watercress sells bulk watercress to the wholesale market. We created a website specifically targeting bulk buyers.
Rachel did a fantastic job for us writing the content for our website, she then showed us more magic with her skills. She enabled our website to be seen on the 1st couple of pages when entered in a search engine, instead of the 20th page. She made the whole process very easy and I would highly recommend her.

Insinc sells New Zealand’s widest range of eco-friendly and sustainable cleaning, hygiene and food packaging supplies. I write fortnightly blogs for them, promoting and discussing sustainability.
Rachel was a pleasure to work with. Her blog writing was always professional and had a perfect touch of humour to lighten the article. Rachel’s research was through and the blogs were interesting to read. I have no hesitation in recommending Rachel to help with blogging.
Woohoo, fabulous, thanks Rachel.

Jenni Finlayson is one of Orewa’s top real estate agents. Jenni wanted some assistance with social media marketing; I created and updated her social media profiles.
I am thrilled with the work Rachel did my on updating my website. In particular, my profile was out of date and required a complete makeover. She listened to what I wanted to portray, made some great suggestions and then very quickly and efficiently she composed a profile that I was very happy with.
I also felt I needed to join the Social Media sites to give further exposure to my real estate career. Once again, Rachel came up with some clever designs and concepts and was very proficient in establishing me on those networking sites. I was very pleased with her professional manner and her resourcefulness.
I am indebted to Rachel for skilfully completing the task I couldn’t do and in a very cost-effective way. She is very cheerful and enthusiastic throughout the process.

Black Earth makes mouth-watering kasundi sauce from their own ingredients grown in the rich peat soils of Omaha. They starting selling at Matakana and we developed their site so customers could find their products all year round.
I found Rachel at Wordright very personable and easy to deal with. She had the flare to make my food product ‘taste’ good on my website with how she wrote and really encompassed everything we were about. Websites and search engines are a foreign language but Rachel was someone we could place our confidence in.

Trailblazers Northland wanted a brand-new look and feel for their Northland-based business. We worked with them to create a “fun” information-filled site.
Rachel was able to quickly comprehend the nature of our business using ‘speak’ that was practical yet engaging for the website browser. She explained the psychology around the written word and the need to ‘mix it up’ into everyday language. The result? A website that is vocally interesting whilst still being informative. It talks to all of our customer demographics.
Simple easy process well worth the investment.

AA Directions is New Zealand’s top magazine according to readership, with 837,000 readers. The magazine celebrates Kiwi culture. From great places to inspiring people, the magazine explores New Zealand and showcases it in a range of visually stunning and brightly written features. AA Directions is published three times a year.
Rachel has been proofreading AA Directions for the past three years (remotely, with a system that works well) and I’m happy to recommend her to anyone wanting a careful eye cast over their ed material.
She’s thorough, professional and reliable.
We sometimes need last-minute attention and have quirks relating to branding to be considered, but I never get the impression that anything’s a bother to Rachel – she delivers, on time and to a high standard.

Copywriting for mobile event caterers from Napier to Kerikeri.
Hi Rachel, What a fantastic job you have done. Thank you. I spotted two tiny mistakes…not bad for all the stuff you wrote up. Home page, second paragraph, there’s an “o” missing from most. The Shakes page, second paragraph again, there’s an “r” missing from your. I love it Rachel. I’m so happy.
