What kind of writing do you do?

I write web copy, blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, social media posts, business bios, product descriptions and more. If it’s words for your website, I can rewrite and refresh existing content, especially when it’s no longer performing well or needs to be optimised for AI searches and geo-targeted audiences.

How do I work with you?

Start by getting in touch. I’ll ask a few questions about your project, outline the process, and provide a clear quote. If it’s a good fit, we’ll book it in. I work with businesses across New Zealand and can collaborate via phone, Zoom or email. I live in Orewa, so if you’re nearby in Auckland, we can also meet in person – whatever suits you.

Can you help if I don’t know what I want to say?

Absolutely. Many clients know what they want to say but not how to say it. I’ll ask the right questions to get to the heart of your message and turn your knowledge into clear, compelling web copy. You know your business best; my job is to shape that into content that connects.

What website writing & SEO services do you offer?

Website copy is priced per item with fixed quotes – no surprises. As a guide:

  • Keyword research and SEO strategy (for a site with up to 7 pages): $315
  • Website copywriting for 7 pages: $770
    Includes SEO: metadata (titles, descriptions, image tags), keywords and two rounds of revisions
  • Case studies: $155
  • Blog writing: $155
  • Uploading, proofing and SEO of your blog: $75.00
  • Blog refresh: from $55

Once I’ve heard about your project, I’ll provide a tailored quote. All my prices include GST.

How much does website copywriting cost?

It depends on the size and complexity of the job. A standard 7-page website starts from around $770 incl GST, which includes planning, writing, two rounds of changes, SEO and GEO optimisation (formatting, keywords, image keywords, page structure – headings and subheadings in question form, etc.). I’ll give you a clear quote before we begin.

Can you help write case studies for my business?

Yes, absolutely. Case studies are one of the most effective – and often underused – marketing tools available. They provide authentic, real-world examples of your expertise, how your business solves problems and delivers results.
For a fixed fee of $155, I’ll help you create a compelling case study based on a recent success. All I need to get started are a few quick bullet points or a short conversation, plus a testimonial (which is even better). From there, I’ll take care of:

  • Structuring the case study into a clear narrative: the client, the challenge, your solution, and the results
  • Writing in a conversational, SEO-friendly tone
  • Including keywords, metadata and formatting for AI search visibility
  • Uploading to your site and including royalty-free images, where appropriate
  • Proofreading and polishing the final piece for clarity and flow
  • Suggesting how you can reuse it across your blog, social media or email marketing

Case studies are especially valuable if you offer services, don’t rely on flashy visuals, or want to highlight your reputation and results. They’re also fantastic for AI-driven search results when potential clients ask very specific questions.

What if I’ve written my own content but want it polished?

Great, I can proofread and edit your copy so it’s clear, professional, and easy to read.  If you’ve already written your web content but want it optimised before it goes live, this is a great option. I can correct grammar and spelling, tighten phrasing, and make sure your copy is formatted and optimised for both AI and human readers.

Can you polish and optimise a blog I’ve already written?

Absolutely. If you’ve written your own blog but want to make sure it’s professional, polished, and working hard for your site, I offer a comprehensive blog proofing, AI and SEO optimisation service for $75 incl GST per post.

This includes:

  • Careful proofreading
  • Grammar, punctuation and clarity improvements
  • SEO formatting with subheadings and smart structure
  • Title tags and meta descriptions
  • Alt-tags for any included images
  • Keyword optimisation and keyword research
  • Uploading to your site if needed
  • Royalty-free image sourcing.

Your blog will be polished, professionally presented, and ready to perform. It’s a great option if you enjoy writing but want a second set of eyes and some SEO and AI search magic before hitting publish.

Can you update and refresh the content I already have?

Yes, I can. If your existing web copy is outdated, off-brand, or underperforming in search results, I can revise and refresh it to bring it up to standard for your audience, AI searches and for Google.

This service includes:

  • Reviewing and editing your existing content for clarity, tone and relevance
  • Rewriting sections to reflect current services, products or branding
  • SEO optimisation (titles, keywords, subheadings, metadata, image alt-text)
  • Formatting for web readability with headings, bullet points, questions and calls to action
  • Ensuring the language and layout suit AI-powered and geo-targeted search

Pricing depends on the scope of the content, but I’ll always provide a clear, fixed quote before I begin. As a very rough estimate, the cost would be about $50 per page. As a rule, refreshing your copy is more cost-effective than starting from scratch, and it can make a big difference to your online visibility.

Do you offer proofreading, and how much does it cost?
Yes. I offer professional proofreading for websites, blog posts, documents and more.

What’s included:

I go through your content twice:

  • I print it out and mark up with the magic red pen
  • I go over it again digitally and suggest changes in either:
    • a PDF with comments, or
    • a Word document using Track Changes (preferred – it’s clearer)

    Pricing:

    • Base rate: 2c (NZD) per word
    • 1,000 words = $20
    • 2,500 words = $50

    You’re welcome to send a sample so I can estimate time. Many blog posts can be proofed in under an hour.

    How much does it cost for you to write and format a newsletter using Brevo or Mailchimp?

    Pricing depends on the scope of the project, i.e whether I’m using a fixed template and doing test sends, etc., but I’ll always provide a clear, fixed quote before I begin. In many cases, I charge per hour for this service, which is $55 incl GST.
